MAIN CAMP '03

Kirkdale Dumfriesshire. Kirkdale camp

MAIN CAMP '02

Littlebeck near Whitby. The weather was 'changeable' with the first half of the week in a 28-30 degree heat wave followed by torrential rains and 6ft floods over the local ford! No problem for 3HG - only good scouts can camp in such conditons. Littlebeck camp

POLAR BADGES

Well done to all Scouts who were awarded the Linnet Clough Polar Bear badge for camping in overnight 'below zero' conditions.

GLENSHEE

Brilliant trip with every variation possible.... still with blue skies then windy with rain & blizzards, icy slopes then fresh snow, not enough snow then too much snow (the slopes were closed for access Sun am), bus engine failure and then recovery,.... Some good skills gained in snowboarding. A great experience!

SNOWSHINE

Snowshine was held at Bowley and our guests this year were 2HG and 1st Woodford. Activities included orienteering, shooting, archery, climbing, signalling, assault course, 5-a-side and photography. Initiative pioneering Orienteering
